Exactly what was needed for my Canon HF M40. This microphone is so in tune with the subject being focused on it should sell for $500.00. I have seen microphones, or should I say heard, many microphones as I am in production at a broadcasting Company and this microphone compares with some of the heavy duty ones we use professionally here.

The nice thing about this item is the background noise reduction. I was doing a video in an open area here in OKC. The wind was really whipping that day. The subject was 40 feet from me and it sounded like he was right there next to me in a library. I mean there was no noise at all. Incredible.

Finally. A microphone compatible with my HFG10. Wow. The microphone that's built in is horrendous. This was is a night and day difference. Thank you.
