The Fujifilm BC-30 Rapid Battery Charger quickly recharges the NP-30 Lithium-Ion battery in less than 3.5 hours for a full charge as compared to about 6 hours with the AC Adapter/Charger that is included with many FinePix Digital Cameras. Also, the BC-30 Rapid Battery Charger charges the battery outside the camera - making it incredibly convenient if you are using more than one battery.
